Already got mine ordered! This is the penultimate Batmobile model…by my count it can be built at least ten different ways, all of them accurate and faithfull to the series! Can’t wait to hear what else PL has going on with the Batman liscense! :) Happy Happy Joy Joy…

Accurate will be only so with the correct engine and chassis which is a modified 1956 Continental Mark II frame, not a Lincoln Premier.

I got mine. It is everything I wanted!

It even has an option for aluminum tubes cut for the rockets, you supply the tubes but it has a template for cutting and a jig to hold them at correct angle.

Mine will have the turbine, correct beacon and hinged doors, hood and trunk.

    The photo etch looks great!

There’s a template for cutting in the instruction sheet, but where do you see a jig?

Part number 157 right next to the template.

Tchnically that’s not a jig, it’s a mount. A jig would be an item for holding them in place while they’re cut. I think that’s where the confusion comes in.

I agree, worth the wait. I’ll be spending most of my extra $ on Batmobiles this year. ;)

I picked up the kit and it looks fantastic. The only flaws I can say are they specify which parts are used the make the season 1, 2 or 3 versions. Also, the back art says there is a paint mask template, but nothing is found in the kit, unless the final decal placement picture is supposed to be it. Other than that, it looks great, but I think I will just build what looks good to me.

Sorry, bad typing, I meant to say they do not specify which parts are used to make the season 1, 2 or 3 versions.

    Dude,

Polar Lights does tell you if you read carefully step by step detailed instructions Seasons 1,2, & 3 and which parts to use up front! Read all bat instructions carefully! IT’s all there in B/W! You have to look at it like this. This is a skill level 3 kit. Not ,for the novice builder at all. Experienced modeler’s only ! Bib Block engine option! I gave them Polar Lights that tip! I said to the best of my knowledge Barris didn’t build a turbine like the 89′ version of the batmobile. He had either a Ford big block 427 HEAVEN< or a 429 under DA Hood! And bat-fans, a long time ago my cousin had a talk with Mr. George Barris and he said that the 1966 Batmobile had a police interceptor engine under the hood! And please don't stael that one from me guys!
