Just shot the video opening the box. I am resetting the timer for first look video tonight. Should have video edited and be hosting our first online panel chat on the PMB! mesage board Bat Chat tonight by Midnight EDT give or take. (If I get hit by a bus - you’ll all have to wait and get your own)

Dear Power and Light Company,
I know I’m past due with my payments, but please do not shut off my electricity. I am waiting to see what special event is taking place of one of my favorite Batmobiles site tomorrow. If you could just give me more than 01 Days, 07 hours, 46 minutes, and 32 seconds…..I mean 20 seconds…….alright 8 seconds……rats, at this rate I’ll never get my payment sent in time.

WOW! The Associated Press! I thought they only covered BIG news? Oh yeah, it is BIG NEWS!!! What will we all do after we finally see it and know how well Mattel has played their cards on this one? Things are going to seems pretty dull after waiting over a year and trying to decipher all of the rumors and hype. I’m used to getting my 1966 Batmobile “fix” every day.

This certainly is an exciting time for collectors of diecasts as well as the Batmobile fans. Although an example of the ‘Elite’ model is not in my hands at this time I have seen the posted photos of the car and they have been exceedingly informative. Although many fans expected a realistic engine, and were dissapointed to see Mattel’s version of a “Turbine engine” as well as the details of the car as it is in it’s current state, most are happy overall. I personally remember telling my post lady when my standard version arrived “I have been waiting for this package for forty years.” Thanks to Mattell for bringing us this incredible Iconic car. As with many others, I wait with baited breath to see just how far the Hot Wheels engineers have gone to bring us this Super Elite version of the most recognisable car- IN THE WORLD.

WooHoo!!! Usually being on the West Coast means I have to wait 3 hours to see something “live” on TV, because of the coastal time differences. Tonight though, I won’t have to wait up until 3 AM to find out what Scooter has in his secret modeling lair. I’m not going to have to miss as much of my beauty sleep as you guys on the East Coast (BTW…my beauty sleep is court mandated….its one of those protect the public things).

Figures it will be tonight. Due to a billing mix up, my cable/internet got disconnected today. Because it’s Friday and after hours, I had to make an appointment to re-connect it ON WEDNESDAY!!! :o\ I’m across town at a friends house to post this… Like I said, it figures… :o\
