PostHeaderIcon Batmobiling Once Again.

Okay this last round of snow has been tamed, the new standing figures are in and everyone’s packages should now be shipped. We also just had five last sets of our seated figures hand-painted by TPM customs and they look great. The unpainted ones weren’t really selling, and everyone kept asking where they could get painted versions, so we’re having them paint up the very last sets before we move on to our Spring projects. They are on eBay right now HERE.  The standing figures have been selling pretty quickly so if you wanted a set  – better move fast. More real news soon.

PostHeaderIcon Batmobile, you ignorant, misguided slot…

Just a funny headline opportunity – nothing ignorant about it. Looks like we might be getting slot car Batmobiles. Autoworld  is an imprint of Round 2/Polar Lights etc. so – fingers crossed. Whatever the final slot cars look like – they had me from the retro catalog design. Here’s a description of their “4 Gear” slot car:

Auto World’s new 4Gear chassis is based on a classic extended “pancake” design. It features an extra gear on its lengthened power transfer plate. The extended wheelbase and narrowed rear end fitted with gigantic dragster-inspired wheels make it perfect for custom applications and totally wild specialty vehicles! And that’s not all… Flip the chassis over and you’ll find two neodymium traction magnets to make these dynamite racers grip the track for super high speed racing excitement!

PostHeaderIcon Just A Taste.

Exclusive look at a sample from a very small run of private stock standing figures for the 1/18 Hot Wheels Batmobile. For those of you who didn’t want to mess with seated figures. UPDATED 2/10/10 THESE FIGURES ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON THE PRODUCTS PAGE! CLICK HERE TO ORDER.

More info: These are much more affordably priced than our previous painted figures for a few reasons. First, they are made of a heavy vinyl as opposed to urethane. Second they are stationery – no articulation. Third – Our seated figures came with a very premium paint job (including emblem decals) by one of the top toy design shops in Asia. These standing figures are great, and look sensational next to the car or in a diorama – but their paint job is a bit simpler than the seated figures sported. So – they cost a lot less.

"Holy no more squeezng inside Mattel's heinous interior, Batman!"
